More Than Just A Fishing Trip!
The North Coast of California is an amazing place.If you have an opportunity to charter a trip with Billy Arana and his North Pacific Adventure Tours don’t hesitate. It was my first ocean kayak fishing experience and I never felt unsafe . Billy was very careful to explain everything I needed to know about being on the open water. Once we were properly rigged it was out to the fishing grounds on some very cool Hobie peddle kayaks.Billy grew up fishing in the area and you can tell he knows it well as we had fish on the whole morning. Billy was right there to lend a hand when needed and to give valuable advice.In addition Billy’s knowledge of the environment and geography of the area made for a very interesting and informative trip. At the end Billy gave a clinic on how to properly filet our catch. I will definitely be booking another trip with Billy in the near future.

October '21Beginner surf lesson with Billy - amazing experience!
My partner and I had never surfed before and weren't sure how it would go. We had a blast! From the beginning Billy made us feel comfortable and supported and we had fun from beginning to end.Billy was awesome - thanks to his clear and supportive coaching we were standing up on the board after a few tries. We were worried about how cold the water would be but the wetsuits Billy provided (including a hood and booties) kept us warm the entire time. He also used a go pro to make sure we had lots of pictures of ourselves surfing. We were a little late (we went to the wrong address) and Billy not only waited for us, he let us go longer past our 2-hour lesson time. Thanks to this great experience we definitely want to keep surfing.

Wow, what a great experience! I bought my own fishing kayak this winter and this was my first ocean fishing trip and it was far beyond my expectations. Billy with North Pacific Adventure has a great “good vibe “ way about him and was always right there to help. His knowledge of the water, reefs, tackle and gear is exceptional. There was always lots of action and many different fish were caught. Once we retuned Billy masterfully filleted our catch. I will definitely use NPA service on my next trip to Point Arena, maybe when Salmon season comes! Thank for all of the great photos.Guest
