This course dose not need to be scheduled over four consecutive days and is designed to address the specific goals and interests of our clients. Experienced and novice kayakers alike always have room to improve. The exact course is subject to change at the request of clients. We suggest kayakers bring their own equipment so that you can learn with the gear you use, however, if needed we do offer a package with all the equipment necessary for your 4 days. We fish every day of our course after and/or during training.

Day 1: we will generally work through the fundamentals of kayaking, starting with pre-trip preparation such as weather forecasting, required gear, gear preparation, how to make the call when not to fish and fish filleting. 

Day 2: Focus on water safety, launching and landing, self rescue, partner rescue, and kayaking techniques. 

Day 3: Focus on fishing gear, tackle, knots, landing fish, fishing styles, technique and fish filleting. 

Day 4: Review of days 1-3. This course is always private, has a two person maximum and is call to book only.
